Japanese soprano of classical-Belcanto training with an international career. Since 2014, she has also specialized in modern and contemporary repertoire. Her 40 opera roles in a wide repertoire have debuted in theatres in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Singapore and Argentina. She has been participating in the Taschenopernfestival since 2017.
Sachika Ito has been part of the Salzburg Pocket Opera Festival since 2017. She performed in the plays “Painted Love” by Wen Liu and “Carrying heavy” by Stephan Winkler at the 2017 Pocket Opera Festival “Show me your flesh” and in the play “Pray, chuck, come hither” by Sara Glojnaric at the 2019 Pocket Opera Festival “Salzburg lies by the sea”. At the 2021 pocket opera festival “Help! Undine goes”, she performed in the plays “Undine – the absent” by Zeynep Gedizlioğlu and “Undine goes!” by Iris ter Schiphorst.
